What is wedding photojournalism?
It is a popular new approach to wedding photography. We concentrate on quietly taking candid pictures that capture the joy, excitement, and real meaning of the wedding day. We often do the posed pictures in half an hour. Then we stay in the background so that our clients can relax and just be themselves.
How long do you take picture for? Are there time limits?
We usually spend about eight hours photographing the bride getting ready, doing portraits, covering the ceremony, and taking pictures of the reception. Some couples hire us for longer than that. Others need us for only a few hours
How many photos do you take? How many do we receive?
We normally take several hundred photographs and edit the film. The bride and groom usually receive an elegant Art Leather preview album and from 175 to 250 high quality 3 1/2 x 5 and 4 x 5 pictures that we have cropped by hand. You may order additional enlargements and custom storybook albums.
Why don't you spend hours taking posed pictures?
Because we want you to have time to smell the flowers, to talk to your loved ones, to laugh, to cry, to dance, to have fun. We don't want you to spend half the day posing for photographs. It often takes us only about 30 minutes to produce refreshingly casual posed pictures of the bride and groom, their families, and the wedding party.
"Thank you for the absolutely amazing pictures of our wedding. You are so gifted!"

How experienced are you?
David has been a photojournalist for over 20 years. He's done hundreds of weddings. He has personally trained his associate photographers, who took several of the pictures on this Web site.
How far in advance do you book weddings?
Most couples book us from a few months to a year in advance. If David is already booked on the day that you'll be married, he may be able to have another photographer cover your wedding on short notice.
May we buy the negatives?
After you've ordered the albums and enlargements that you want, we can send you the negatives free of charge.
Do you provide Internet proofing?
To make it easy for your guests to see your photos, we can provide Internet proofing. Prints may be quickly viewed or ordered on your secured Internet site.
So how much does it cost?
We are surprisingly affordable. Our charge will be based mainly on how many hours you hire us for, where you will be married, and whether you want us to send one photographer or two. After you tell us about your wedding, we will send you pricing information. Please get in touch with us soon.
We haven't chosen a wedding photographer yet. Do you have any advice for us?
After your gown has been stored away and your flowers have turned to dust, your photos will remain to help you remember the special love you shared on your wedding day. So please, please, pleeeeeeeease hire a professional photographer. Don't ask a friend who "takes good pictures" to photograph your wedding. Don't trust your once-in-a-lifetime memories to an inexperienced or unimaginative photographer. Hire a professional who has done lots of weddings.
"Our photos are beautiful - and lots of the time we didn't even see you taking pictures."
